Southwest Firewood is a proud and respected family run business. Trusted by our customers, we have been providing exceptional products and levels of customer service for well over 10 years now, not only throughout Dumfriesshire but across the entire West Of Scotland.
Stephen is the founder and driving force behind South West Firewood. Stephen had direct oversight over production and quality control. He controls all of the raw material buying ensuring that our raw materials are BSL compliant and of the highest quality as well as ensuring all is sourced as locally as possible to reduce the carbon footprint of our product. You are also likely to meet him out delivering product to our valued customers. He is the lynchpin of this family team and senior partner in the business.
Murray is a long standing partner in the South West Firewood. Throughout the early stages of the business Murray was involved in the day to day production operations as well as management of the businesses. Today Murray has stepped back from the day to day but provides assistance in marketing, compliance and finance ensuring that the business is ready for the future and is set up to continue to provide high quality complaint products to our valued customers.
Harry is the newest member of the partnership team at South West Firewood. Harry assists with marketing and compliance with BSL and Woodsure standards. He also builds relationships with raw material suppliers ensuring that the raw material is compliant with all South West Firewood environmental policies and sourced as locally as possible to reduce road miles and carbon footprint. Harry also helps with deliveries and production.
